They charged me twice for $30 by accident and did not refund me when requested. Then completely ignored my emails. Will pursue further actions.

Tried their butter chicken combo and lamb curry combo. The samosas were decent. Naan was fresh. Overall portions can be improved. Needs more variety in the menu. But very tasty, nevertheless

Great food, if you want to eat there you need to time it right as the dining area is not huge. You want it hot? They will toss in some ghost pepper. If you just want a bit more heat they will give you some green chili sauce on the side. 4.5 Stars

Butter Chicken is out of control good. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is clean. Can be busy because it's good.

Delicious food all around. My first visit was later in the afternoon around 2pm. Service was quick, food was hot and nan bread was fresh. Would definitely eat here again in the future.

The man who took our order at the counter was very nice and helpful. However, our orders were not brought out at the same time, and it turns out this was because they'd given my friend's order to someone else and ultimately gave her the wrong one. The food was good though. The garlic naan was good. The tofu and spinach samosa was delicious. The chickpea curry was good, though a touch too spicy for my taste.

Gaurav is a super owner, his positive energy brings high level of energy. Food is superb and the owner is even better. Highly contagious place, once you go there, 100% you will go again, authentic Indian food.

Quality of food and service was excellent. Really enjoyed the spices in the sauce. I had the lamb combo. The meat was so tender, loved it. The combo was very good value for your money. The lentil soup was superb, especially if you like lentils and spice. There 10 once soup was plenty.

Vey delicious and authentic Indian food and we love their butter chicken. Definitely will be a frequent customer. I just want to suggest if they can get rid of the monitors on the wall to avoid giving an impression that it is a fast food restaurant.

Great flavors and nice portions. Definitely a good place in Ottawa to grab some Indian food.

Roast and curries has the best food I’ve ever tasted! The food is amazing!!!!.I'm in love with their butter chicken! The owner and his brother are very welcoming when entering the restaurant. They’re customer service is on point.

OMG! Best Indian food I ever had in my life. SERIOUSLY! I’m not kidding you, if Gordon Ramsey visited that restaurant, he would be amazed by the taste and the quality of the food. The host is VERY courteous, he even wears a nice, clean kitchen shirt like those fancy chefs. It was my first time there, and I’m glad someone recommended me that restaurant. My husband and I had tandoori chicken for appetizers. Then after, I ordered their lamb korma combo and my husband had butter chicken. Their combos include a big semosa and a drink. We were full!Now I wished I worked closer, I’d be eating my lunches there on a regular basis.

We ordered chicken biriyani and lamb curry platter. We liked the biriyani most. The biriyani was light, less oily and less spicy but still flavorful. Lamb curry was also good. Organized and clean restaurant with good customer service. Reasonable price.

Delicious food, and amazing customer service. The lad on cash takes each free moment he gets to circulate through the tables to ensure that each customer is fully satisfied with their meal. The cooking staff in the back absolutely nail every single dish that comes through the doors to be served. My only point of criticism would have to be that I always beat the heat when it comes to their dishes. Each meal has been extremely enjoyable, but even when I ask for my dish to be extra spicy, it still doesn't get me to break a sweat. If you ask for some hot sauce sauce with your meal you'll get some in a little container, which helps, but I still found myself longing for some real heat in the curry. All that to say, if you've never tried their food, stop doing yourself a disservice and go order literally anything off their menu. You will not regret it.

I come here often but not as much as i'd like to. Fantastic food - all of it. The best part though is the service. They have such a welcoming and thoughtful service - more restaurants should be like that. Feels like they're genuinely happy to serve you and that's refreshing.

Great food, cozy environment, super polite staff that aim to please--colour me impressed!Went to visit on a Thursday night, and the place was moderately busy. Managed to have a nice and quiet dinner with a small group of friends. The food is prepared quickly without skipping out on the presentation. Absolutely love this place! Would eat here everyday if I could. The food was is so flavorful; I usually order extra samosas so I can have some at home. Staff are so friendly and kind!

Decent portion sizes. Very friendly staff. The ONLY reason not 5 stars... limited vegan menu.... which is surprising as East Indian food has arguably the most options for vegan foods.... but great place.

Overall good food. The portion was adequate and tasted fresh and authentic. The $17 combo meal is proportional to the price and you get a good serving. Customer service is not too bad overall, considering how busy they are for lunch. Worth a visit if craving North Indian cuisine.

Decent Indian restaurant, I have been to so many of them and I eat Indian food every day pretty much. The standard of the food is ok but not really good. Their menu is different from traditional Indian restaurant. usually not a very busy restaurant . Location is ok and staff is pretty friendly

The main course chicken curry tastes like bad Indian food. Rest of it was fine though.

I had the butter chicken combo and it was really flavorful. It wasn't the type of butter chicken that I'm used to, but really enjoyed it! The naan wasn't made in those clay ovens but was still pretty good. I thought the combo was a lot of food for one person. The service was great as well.

Im a South Indian and visisted the place for lunch with family. I liked the plating, quality and ambiance of the restaurant. Location was also accessible. But the tastes can be little spicy 🌶 for Indians. I liked the Mutton curry 🍛 platter. Chicken Biryani was not like regular Biryani for me, it tasted kind of sweet, may be due to dates in it. Also chicken curry tasted sweet. May be on request we get spicy food 🥘

I am a massive fan of Indian food. Having eaten a lot all over Toronto, I have always been found Indian food in Ottawa to be VERY disappointing. Roast and Curries is not only the best Indian food in Ottawa hands down. Its probably some of the best Indian food I have eaten PERIOD, Toronto included. The owners and chefs are really professional and put a lot of time into the dishes. The dishes are flavorful and super high quality. The homemade butter chicken is really amazing but the Kebab is the best I ever had. On top of everything its very reasonably priced. This place is a must try if you like Indian food and live in Ottawa..

Fantastic food and great friendly service. $17 for a combo which included butter chicken, rice, salad, nan and a samosa! Oh and a pop/bottled water. You really can't beat that deal! I was able to bring half of it home for lunch the next day.

This place is deceivingly great Indian food. The dal in particular has whole toasted cumin seeds and is super flavourful. It’s my go to place for a consistent weeknight curry.

Ordered from Ritual today and had a great meal! It's hard to get good Indian food in Ottawa so I was surprised when this food was so good after being cooked so quickly. The price was fair and the staff were super friendly. I want to go back and dine in because the restaurant itself looks pretty cozy, definitely recommend!

The butter chicken is really good. It’s not made the same way you typically see at other restaurants. It doesn’t have that creamy dairy taste but it is so full of flavour. The guy working here is also so kind and helpful. I came in a few weeks ago and couldn’t remember which dish I liked best so he gave me samples so I could figure it out. I’ve also witnessed him give someone whom lives in a nearby shelter a meal to go. Wonderful food and people working there. Highly recommend.
